Armchair Reupholstery
in Ballymena
From mid-century classics to wingbacks and tub chairs — stripped back, rebuilt, and reupholstered to last another lifetime.
An armchair is often the most-used piece of furniture in a home. It's also the easiest to underestimate — what looks like a tired old chair is usually a quality frame waiting to be brought back. We specialise in armchair restoration: full strip-down to the timber, rebuild of springs, webbing and padding, and a clean, hand-finished reupholstery in the fabric or leather you choose.
Mid-century pieces — Parker Knoll, G-Plan, Ercol — are a particular favourite. So are wingbacks, tub chairs and modern occasional armchairs. Each piece is treated individually.

questions
Common questions about this service. Can't see yours? Send us a WhatsApp message and we'll answer directly.
How much does it cost to reupholster an armchair?
Most fabric reupholsteries for a standard armchair fall in the mid-hundreds. Wingbacks, button-tufted pieces and leather work cost more because they're more labour-intensive. We'll quote exactly from photos — no surprises.
Do you take vintage Parker Knoll or G-Plan armchairs?
Yes — mid-century British armchairs are some of our favourite pieces to work on. The frames are typically excellent quality and the rebuild restores them to better-than-new condition.
Can I keep the original buttons or studs?
Yes, where they're in good condition. Where they aren't, we recreate them in matching style — covered buttons in your fabric, antique-brass or chrome studs as appropriate.
